Building A Brand; You Are Your Own Goldmine
You might not realise it but you are not just sitting on a goldmine, you ARE the goldmine 💰
You — or more to the point — your personal brand is likely to be one of the most valuable things that you are working on, but a lot of people are not even aware of that fact.
I recently read a great article in Entrepreneur Magazine all about how Kevin Hart views the power of his personal brand and how he utilised it, grows it, protects it, leverages it and monetises it.
In the article — which is taken from Kevin’s own show (named after himself) produced by his own production company (also named after himself) he shared some key points to be mindful of when intentionally building and growing a personal brand.
Here are the highlights:

[✅] Think differently
[✅] Declare your mission
[✅] Create stuff aligning with that mission
[✅] Be clear on your value
[✅] Create a plan to spread your message
Now, this might not sound like rocket science — and it’s not — but how many of us entrepreneurs, business owners and brand builders actually pay attention to this stuff, daily.
I know that I am guilty of not always hitting the 6 points bang on (I am particularly bad at points 3 and 5 for total transparency) but one thing I am consistent with is the fact that I am intentional with the brand I am building.
Intentionality is key as you are building a brand whether you know it or not. Every post here on LinkedIn, every story on Insta, every message to your mailing list, every dancing video on TikTok add — or detracts! — from the brand, you are building.
